About Us

Shree Prannath Hospital is a charitable multi speciality hospital in the centre of Surat

Shree Prannath Arogya Trust has run community institutions in Surat since 1993. The hospital on Ved Road is the largest of them, run on a no profit, no loss basis and debt free from the beginning. One rate for every patient, the Rs 10 outpatient charge and free dialysis under MA Yojana are trust decisions made so that cost, distance and waiting are never the reasons someone goes without treatment.

Who runs this hospital

The hospital is one part of a trust that has worked in Surat for more than thirty years. These two decisions, made a generation apart, are why treatment here costs what it does.

Founder

Swami Shree Tartam Jyotiji Maharaj

A health care institute that would serve mankind without any discrimination of caste, religion or economic status.

He established Shree Prannath Arogya Trust in 1993, and the hospital on Ved Road grew out of it. The nursing college on the same campus carries his name. Eleven other institutions the trust runs in Surat trace back to the same decision.

What does an OPD consultation cost at Shree Prannath Hospital?

General OPD is Rs 10, and that includes the medicine prescribed for that day. The same rate applies to every patient. There is no separate rate and no negotiation at the counter.

What are the OPD timings?

The outpatient department is open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Emergency and intensive care run 24 hours a day, every day.
