Video gallery

A short film answers the question a photograph cannot: what actually happens when you walk in.

In short

Are there videos of Shree Prannath Hospital?

Not yet. The video gallery lists the seven films the hospital intends to make, covering the hospital walkthrough, the dialysis unit, intensive care, the free ambulance, the school of nursing, a medical camp and the trust's accounts. Nothing has been filmed so far.

  • Seven films planned
  • Nothing filmed yet

People deciding where to take a relative want to see the place moving, not posed. The seven films below are the ones worth making first, each tied to a question the hospital is asked at reception every day. They are listed here, with the subject and the point each one has to land, so filming can be done in a day or two rather than guessed at.

None of them has been filmed yet, so every card below is a slot rather than a player. Nothing on this page pretends a video exists. The moment a link arrives the slot becomes a real player, and the page appears in the video sitemap automatically.

Videos load only when clicked, so nothing is requested from YouTube and no third-party cookie is set until a visitor asks for one.

In preparation

What filming needs from the hospital

Phone footage shot steadily is worth more than nothing, so none of this waits on a production budget.

What this page needs from the hospital

  • The hospital's position on filming in clinical areas, in writing
  • A consultant or trustee willing to speak on camera for each film
  • Written consent from any patient who appears, however briefly
  • Whether the films are spoken in Gujarati, Hindi or English, or subtitled
  • A YouTube channel for the trust, so the videos have a permanent home
  • Who at the hospital approves a film before it goes up

Until that arrives this page stays deliberately short rather than carrying content nobody can stand behind. If you need any of it now, call 0261 2510050 and ask.

A note on consent

Why patients are not filmed by default

A hospital video is the one place where getting consent wrong is not a legal technicality but a betrayal of someone who came in unwell. The films above are built so that seven of the eight need no identifiable patient at all: equipment, corridors, staff and students carry them. Where a patient does appear, written consent comes first and the hospital keeps it on file.

That is also why no footage will be shot inside the intensive care unit of anyone receiving treatment. The ICU film is a consultant explaining the unit, not a camera walking through it.

Anything not covered here, call 0261 2510050.

Are there videos of the hospital to watch?

Not yet. The films the hospital intends to make are listed on this page with the subject of each. The photo gallery and the written hospital tour are available today.

Can I see the dialysis unit before deciding?

Yes. Come to the hospital during OPD hours, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, and ask at reception, or call 0261 2510050. A film explaining the unit is planned.

Only with written consent kept on file by the hospital, and no footage will be taken of anyone receiving treatment in intensive care.

Where will the videos be hosted?
