Anaesthesiology
Covers the four modular operation theatres and critical care. The department assesses every patient before surgery and manages pain and sedation during and after it.

Gastrointestinal Surgery
Surgery of the digestive tract, within the surgical group and using the same four modular theatres. Assessment starts in the outpatient department.

Bariatric Surgery
Planned weight-loss surgery, arranged through the outpatient department after consultation and assessment rather than booked directly.

Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Reconstruction after injury, burns and surgery. The department works alongside orthopaedics and general surgery where a case needs both.

Urology
Kidney, bladder and prostate conditions, including stones. Imaging and the laboratory are in the same building and run 24 hours.

Ear, nose and throat conditions, both medical and surgical, including tonsils and sinus surgery. Seen through the general outpatient department.

Arthroscopy
Keyhole joint surgery, used for knee and shoulder problems where it avoids open surgery. Physiotherapy afterwards is on the same campus.

Fertility services within the women and child group. Consultation starts in the outpatient department.

Diabetes, thyroid and hormone conditions, with the long-term follow-up shared with general medicine and a 24-hour laboratory on site.

How do I know which department I need?
You do not have to decide in advance. Come to the general OPD between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm, pay the consultation charge and the doctor who sees you will direct you to the right department.
Why do some departments have their own page and others not?
Twelve departments have a full page because they are the ones people most often search for and travel to. The rest are listed here and can be expanded later.
Are these departments open every day?
These run to outpatient hours, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Accident and emergency, intensive care, the laboratory and imaging run 24 hours.
